I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Graeme. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
I'm Daniel from the Kootuitui Summer Learning Project team and I'm excited to start commenting on both of your blog posts this week and over the summer.
Your school sound like it would be really cool, I like the idea of 5 day weekends and equal pay sounds really fair to everyone. I wonder if this means the students get paid the same as the teachers. I think the idea of the students telling the teachers what they learn about sounds really interesting and would make really fun lessons.
I like the pictures you picked and the middle one with the grey background made me laugh. It’s really good to have interesting pictures like these on your blogs so people are interested and want to read and comment.
I’m looking forward to seeing more awesome work like this from both of you this week and throughout the holidays. Remember that week 1 of the SLJ program starts on the 16th of December to start earning those points.
